JoAnna Zito

My name is Joanna Zito and I was born in New Orleans LA in 1967. My parents are both healthy at 78 years old with 3 older brothers, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.   I personally have three 4 legged children (Dachshunds)

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Marketing from Nicholls State University and moved to West Palm Beach Florida in 1996. I went to Nursing School in 1999 where I received my LPN and just one semester from my RN degree.

Unfortunately, in May 2003 I was hit by a drunk driver and as a result I have 4 herniations in my neck and 2 bulging discs in my lower back.  I spent two years trying to get my body back in shape. Just 1 month before my accident I was in a fitness competition so thank goodness my body was in shape, but because of my accident my core was very weak.

For 6 months I went to a chiropractor, took pain pills (which made me sick, and not feel any better), trigger point injections and Cortisone epidural injections under anesthesia. Out of all of those treatments, massage was the only thing that gave me temporary relief.  The only thing my Doctor said would get me relief was to get a 3 level fusion in my neck! … Let’s just say I passed on that idea!

I had a different vision. I went to my pain management doctor and said I need to take control of my therapy; nothing is working for me. I couldn’t work out which I missed tremendously considering I have worked out since I was 16 years old. I just knew there was a better way. I asked him to help me to improve my quality of life.

That is when I got introduced to a life-changing phenomenon… HGH! At the time, I had not heard of HGH (Human Growth Hormone).  I found out it would help to rebuild soft tissue, help with my posture, gain muscle growth, and basically improve my overall wellness, just to name a few. Not only was I blown away, but I thought man…

Talk about taking my life into my own hands! I had to go to a Rejuvenation Clinic on my own, because he couldn’t prescribe the HGH to me. What he could do is prescribe 9 months of Physical Therapy. I was on HGH for about a year before I really started noticing a change. I started going to the gym, yoga classes, meditating on my healing and very intense physical therapy.

I changed my whole way of thinking (positive thoughts equals positive results).  What I have learned is that you can either let pain and misery take over your life or you can do something to improve your mental and physical state of being.

I started working at Physicians Rejuvenation Center in 2007 and I am the top Senior Age Management Consultant. I let my s see that the glass is always half full and I can help guide them in a positive direction through diet, exercise and Hormone Replacement Therapy.  Most of my s are from 30 to 70 years of age with many different issues. From car accident injuries who want to do the GH or men and women going through the hormonal changes of menopause and andropause.  I love what I do and am very committed and dedicated to my s. My passion is helping people feel good, look good and comforting them in need of comfort. I am also a because I am going through peri-menopause. I am currently on the testosterone cream and HGH and have seen and feel a big change.

I met my soul mate in 2004 and she is my only Physical Therapist.

I participate in many charities and presently help children for Christmas whose parent or parents are in hospice. What a gift to be part of something so wonderful. I am so grateful to have found them! I did this while I was in nursing school and when I went back to participate this year no one had done this since 2003. So this is my new charity at Christmas time. If everyone did one thing each day to bring a smile to someone else, imagine how beautiful the world could become… would become!!!
